Moving from the Trombetas ruins to Arequipa.

I am moving from the Trombetas ruins to Arequipa.
It is evening, so the wind is strong.

The town of Arequipa.

I will be staying in Arequipa for 2 nights, including rest time.

Here is the accommodation:
Fabrizio's Backpacker
Single room for 2 nights: US$18.60 (approximately 2,300 yen)
Includes breakfast
Approximately 1,150 yen per night.

I have forgotten my bag at a restaurant twice, with a few days in between.
This is proof of my carelessness...
Fortunately, both times it was returned, but there's no guarantee it will be returned the third time. That's dangerous.

My Quechua shoes are about to break, so I was thinking of looking for or repairing them in Arequipa. Since it's going to be cold soon, I was also considering switching from mesh shoes to warmer ones. However, they are surprisingly expensive, and I haven't found anything that I like, so I'll just get them repaired. 5 soles (approximately 180 yen).
Many people are coming for repairs. They are very skilled. This is a reliable repair shop.
I was thinking of replacing them in the Japanese way, but after getting them repaired, they seem to be in such good condition that I changed my mind. Shoes can be repaired so well. There used to be repair shops in Japan, but you don't see them anymore. Considering labor costs, repair shops in Japan are probably so expensive that it's cheaper to buy new ones.

I was hesitant about going to Puno, but I decided to go there when I return, so I'm not going now. I'm heading to Chile.
There are many attractions in Argentina, so I want to spend more time there.
Easter Island will have to wait. There are flights from Lima as well. Even if it's via Santiago, the price doesn't seem to change much.
