Today, while driving, a brown iguana crossed the road. It was a distance away, so I thought I could pass, but it suddenly accelerated, and I thought I had hit it, but then I heard a sound like it had avoided me. There might have been contact. I went back to check, and it was okay.
A few minutes later, a bird was about to walk across the road, but I panicked and it flew away. Whew.
In the evening, a goat was running at a constant speed, and it didn't seem to want to avoid me, so I swerved to avoid it. Whew. It was a dangerous experience.
Originally, I was planning to enter Chile from Mendoza and travel south, but I felt that the area around Santiago was not interesting, so I decided to travel south through the western side of Argentina. I am not particularly interested in Santiago.
I am interested in Puerto Montt, so I might enter Chile near there and then return to Argentina again.
