I am entering Peru from Bolivia.

I have arrived in Puno, Peru.

The nearby ruins tour starts with a stop at a high point for a commemorative photo opportunity.
You can see the entire city from there.

I visited a nearby historical site.
The impressive ones seem to be tombs from the Inca period.
The less impressive ones are said to be tombs from before the Inca period.

I visited the famous floating islands in Puno.
It was an amazing experience to walk on them.



The buildings on the floating island are like this. They also have lights powered by solar panels.



There are surprisingly many floating islands.



I will ride a hand-powered boat.

Next, I also went to Taquile Island, but perhaps it would have been enough just to visit the floating island of Uros.

This is my first time trying quail.
It's expensive, but it has a lot of bones and doesn't taste that good.
It's like a mix of chicken and frog...
Beef is definitely better.
I think I'm done with quail...
It has a bit of a wild taste...
