This route passes through the highlands and mountains, and the scenery is very beautiful.
There was a fork near Riobamba that led to Chimborazo National Park. I wonder if I should have gone there?
I was expecting to see similar scenery on this route, but I wish I had seen Mount Chimborazo up close. I regret it a little, but there's nothing I can do. I mistakenly thought that I would be able to see such scenery from Bucay, but the route I took did not offer views of the snow-capped mountains.
