I purchased it from a place that looks like a legitimate HP store.
If you buy from a suspicious store, the license might be questionable, and sometimes they might have Windows 7 installed even though the back sticker says Windows 8, and they still claim it's new.
Also, if you go with a salesperson, it becomes more expensive. I don't buy from them. Their commission is usually around 30%, so the price goes up significantly. The disappointment of the salesperson when you don't buy is also intense, but they seem to give up quickly.
Now I need to set up the new PC.
