Move to Chachapoyas.
I have arrived in Chachapoyas, a town in the mountains.
When I went out to the square at night, I saw a rally for a political party called PPK. Wow.
It's probably a party that's not led by Fujimori Keiko.
They got excited and then released fire-lit paper balloons and disappeared. They were parading.
It's amazing that they can release fire-lit paper balloons without any problems. Is this a town or a country with a very relaxed attitude?
By the way, in a restaurant in the previous town, Huaraz, I was greeted with a handshake and the words, "Thank you, President Fujimori, thank you, Japan."
I don't know the details, but it seems they are grateful.
Tomorrow, I will go to Karajia to see a strange-looking object, like a shield, and also visit a nearby cave.
The day after tomorrow, I will go to see the ruins of Kuelap, a fortress that is often referred to as the "Machu Picchu of the North."

Macro ruins.
Kuerap Fortress.
This morning, while waiting for the tour, I was asked, "Would you like to switch the destinations for today and tomorrow?" So today, we are going to Querrap.
Currently, a ropeway is being constructed, which will allow us to view Querrap from the side.
It seems that this will make it easier to see the entire view, and it may increase its popularity.
Currently, there is no vantage point where you can see the entire view, which is a shame.

It is located in a place with a good view.
The atmosphere is similar to Machu Picchu before its restoration. I have seen pictures of Machu Picchu in a terrible state, about 30 to 50 years ago, and it feels like that. It seems like it could become beautiful with further work.
It is said to be a fortress, not a castle. It was apparently impregnable. It is said that the Inca could not conquer it.
It is smaller than Machu Picchu. It's about the size of the central part of Machu Picchu.
If the excavation of the surrounding areas progresses, it might become the same size.

There are many stone buildings at the summit.

It was enjoyable to a certain extent, but I am looking forward to future repair work.
It would be interesting if it were restored to the same level as Machu Picchu.
Possible objects included in the image: mountain, sky, outdoors.

Quiocta Cave (Caverna de Quiocta)
Karajia ruins.
I visited the Karajia ruins.
This is like a coffin, and it seems that mummies were originally inside.
It seems to be scattered in various places, so there aren't many clustered together, and I was only able to see this one and one other smaller one.
To see more, you have to do a 2-hour trek or cross a mountain.
