Move to Naples (Napoli).

I will be traveling from Bari to Naples by bus.
The bus ticket costs around 22 euros if purchased on the same day, but it costs 9.99 euros (approximately 1,360 yen) if purchased the day before.
The name of the bus company is MARINO.
Here is the website: http://www.marinobus.it/promo_linea_napoli.htm

The website is in Italian, but it seems to indicate that this is a promotional price.

You can purchase the bus ticket at the following location, which is about 200 meters west of the south exit.

Naples (Napoli) old town.

I strolled through the old town of Naples, but it felt a bit dirty. There are also a lot of graffiti.

There is a saying, "See Naples and then die," but for ordinary people, it seems like you can see Pompeii and not need to see Naples. It seems like it would be perfectly fine to die without seeing Naples.

Naples Cathedral (Duomo di Napoli)

I saw the Naples Cathedral (Duomo di Napoli).
There was something that looked like a mass going on, but I don't understand why there are so many people who look like tourists walking around without any regard for it. Shouldn't they be quieter?

Chiesa di Gesù Nuovo.

I went to the Gesu Nuovo Church in the old town of Naples.
It is certainly large, but this place is also old and worn.

Nuovo Castle (Angevin Castle, Castel Nuovo, Maschio Angioino).

I went to the Nuovo Castle (Angevin Castle, Castel Nuovo, Maschio Angioino), which is near the coast, but it was closed today.
I was somewhat satisfied just by looking at the exterior, so I decided to leave it at that.

Napoli (Naples) coastline.

I strolled along the Naples coastline.

Mount Vesuvius is beautiful, but the buildings stretch out all the way to the distant coastline, creating a somewhat unpleasant view.
Perhaps it was a scenic landscape in the past when there were no buildings, but I can't imagine this as the "view that makes you want to die." It's just a coastline with a jumble of buildings.
If it weren't for that line, I would just pass it by, but when you hear "the view that makes you want to die," you wonder, "Where is it?"

When I looked at the sea, there were oil and garbage floating around, and I wish I hadn't looked.
It's just an ordinary coastline if you ignore the line.
The line might be referring to the coast of Alimata, which is a little further ahead, but I'm not interested, so I'm not going there.

Egg Castle.

I went to the Ovo Castle, which is located on the coast of Naples, but it seems to be closed today.
I am satisfied just by seeing it from the surroundings, so it's okay.

Naples National Archaeological Museum.

Let's visit the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
It is very large, and many items excavated from the ruins of Pompeii are on display.

National Capodimonte Museum (Museo di Capodimonte).

I went to the National Capodimonte Museum, which is located on a hill in Naples.
About half of the rooms were closed, but even so, the amount of exhibits was overwhelming.

It seems that the collection originated with the Bourbon family, but as expected, the level of the nobles or kings in this area is different.
