Move to Cueva de las Manos.
Cueva de las Manos.
There are footprints and other patterns dating back approximately 10,000 years, which are quite valuable.
Of course, even pyramids cannot compare to this. My target for the oldest archaeological site I visit has been updated. It feels so valuable that there probably aren't many older sites. Surprisingly, the drawings are well-preserved, and it's quite enjoyable.
It seems that not much is known about this, but it allows for a lot of imagination. Perhaps the Neanderthals wrote these during religious rituals, or maybe they decorated the area around their dwellings with patterns. Or perhaps it was a custom for adults to come to this canyon for a coming-of-age ceremony and leave these footprints. There are so many diverse and numerous footprints and patterns, making it a quite interesting site.
It was worth the effort to come here.
I came by my own motorcycle, so the entrance fee was only 120 pesos. However, if you come on a tour from the town of Perito Moreno, it seems you have to pay the entrance fee plus a tour fee of about 600 pesos. Hmm.

Move to Gobernador Gregores.
After visiting Cueva de las Manos, there were a few small inns along the road to the south, and about 250 km south was the slightly larger town of Gobernador Gregores.
Going back 100 km north to stay in Perito Moreno seemed inconvenient, so even though it was late, I decided to drive to Gobernador Gregores.
However, the wind was strong, and I drove a bit too fast, so fuel consumption was surprisingly high. I drove economically near the town, which caused a delay in my arrival. As a result, I felt cold and almost got sick. I learned that the temperature drops significantly around 8 pm in this area, so I will be careful not to drive at night in my future schedule.

The accommodation here is as follows.
It is quite comfortable, but there is no Wi-Fi.
Hospedaje Mariel
Single room: 200 Pesos.
Shared toilet and bathroom.
No breakfast.
