I am returning to São Paulo.

After the Rio Carnival, I moved to São Paulo.
Since the weather is bad when traveling north in Brazil, I will avoid the Amazon region and head towards Paraguay.

São Paulo has a Japanese district (Asian district), which is comforting.
I want to focus more on work for a while.

Motorcycle repair in São Paulo.

In São Paulo, I performed motorcycle maintenance.
At a small shop recommended by the owner of the hostel where I stayed, I had the chain replaced, the front and rear sprockets replaced, and the oil changed. It feels good.
It cost about 10,000 yen including labor.

In the case of bicycle gears, the tips of the gears (sprockets) become rounded after riding a long distance. This is probably because of the gear changes.
However, in the case of motorcycles, the tips become pointed. This is probably because there are no gear changes.

I was looking at it the same way as bicycle gears, so I thought it was still fine because the gears were pointed and not rounded.
However, a friend told me about the above, and I realized that the tips were very pointed and it was time to replace them, so I replaced them. It might have been dangerous.

Future plans.

The route is almost satisfactory.

Since I have reached the southernmost point of South America and finished the carnival in Rio de Janeiro, I feel like I can return home. However, I need to dispose of the motorcycle, so I will temporarily move to Paraguay.

I researched and found that it seems possible to dispose of the motorcycle in Paraguay, but for various reasons, I decided to return to Colombia, where I purchased it, to dispose of it. I will meet up with the return route in Nazca, Peru, and from there, I will quickly return to Colombia, collecting places I didn't visit on the way there.

Because of this, I was unsure where to wait for the end of the rainy season. However, it seems that the 30-day stay in Bolivia can be easily extended to 90 days, so I am considering moving to the lowlands of Bolivia (around Santa Cruz) via Paraguay to see how things go. The cost of living in Paraguay and Bolivia is probably cheaper.

First, I will go to Asunción via Cuiabá and Iguazu. I plan to look for a laptop in a duty-free town near Iguazu. My laptop is about to break, and the slow speed and small screen make it difficult to work.

I went to see it, just out of curiosity.
