I traveled to Vienna, Austria by bus.

I will travel to Vienna, Austria by bus.

I used a bus from Student Agency. It took about 4 hours.
The price was 14 euros (approximately 1,900 yen).

It arrives quite quickly.
I arrived at a bus terminal near a stadium outside the city center, so I will take the metro to the city center.

My accommodation in Vienna is as follows:

Do Step Inn
6 nights for 86 euros (approximately 11,700 yen)
Approximately 1,950 yen per night. It is in a convenient location, close to a railway station.
The room is also spacious.

Art History Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien), Main Building.

Visit the main building of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Art History Museum).

This place is incredibly huge, and there are so many exhibits that it takes a whole day to visit.
It took about 6 hours to see everything.

Only on Thursdays is it open until 9:00 PM, so I entered around 1:00 PM and visited until about 6:30 PM.

I am very satisfied.

Imperial Treasury Vienna, Kaiserliche Schatzkammer Wien.

Visit the Imperial Treasury (Imperial Treasury Vienna, Kaiserliche Schatzkammer Wien).
The entrance is a little difficult to find, but it is of a high level and very satisfying. Wonderful.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Art History Museum), New Palace (Neue Burg) - Ephesus Museum.

I visited the Ephesus Museum, which is located in the Neue Burg, an annex of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Art History Museum).

Although I visited Ephesus in Turkey a few months ago, it seems that this museum displays artifacts excavated from that site.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Art History Museum Vienna), New Palace (Neue Burg) - Collection of Historic Musical Instruments.

Visit the Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, located in the Neue Burg, an annex of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Art History Museum).

Old musical instruments are on display, and they are decorated with sculptures and paintings, making them works of art rather than just instruments.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, Art History Museum Neue Burg - Collection of Arms and Armour

Visit the Collection of Arms and Armour, which is located in the Neue Burg, an annex of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Museum of Art History).

Again, the collection is extensive and of a high level. The museums in Vienna are truly amazing in their quality.

Vienna City Hall (Wiener Rathaus)

I went to the Vienna City Hall (Wiener Rathaus).
It seems that a reservation is required to enter the building, but simply walking around the exterior is sufficient for now.
Currently, a small film festival is being held, and there were stalls and other activities, creating a lively atmosphere before the opening.

Votivkirche.

I walked a little to go to the Votivkirche.
I didn't have much expectation, but all the churches in this area are magnificent and of a high level.

Schönbrunn Palace (Palace of Schönbrunn, Schloss Schönbrunn, Schloß Schönbrunn) and its gardens.

I visited Schönbrunn Palace (Palace of Schönbrunn, Schloss Schönbrunn, Schloß Schönbrunn) and the surrounding gardens.
Photography is not allowed inside, but it was truly luxurious and I was quite satisfied.

Schönbrunn Zoo (Zoo Vienna, Tiergarten Schönbrunn).

I visited the Schönbrunn Zoo (Zoo Vienna, Tiergarten Schönbrunn).
The price is about twice as much as places like Prague, so it's a bit expensive, but I had a decent time.

Hofburg Palace - Sisi Museum, Silver Collection, Imperial Apartments.

I visited the Sisi Museum, the Silver Collection, and the Imperial Apartments, which are located inside the Hofburg Imperial Palace.

The life of Empress Elisabeth, affectionately known as Sisi, is fascinating. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed inside.

Imperial Furniture Collection (Hofmobiliendepot)

I went to see the Imperial Furniture Collection (Hofmobiliendepot).
It is included with the Sisi ticket. I probably wouldn't have gone if it were a separate ticket.

Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, Painting Gallery (Academy of Fine Arts, Gemäldegalerie der Akademie der bildenden Künste).

Visit the Academy of Fine Arts, Gemäldegalerie der Akademie der bildenden Künste.

Although it is small and the number of paintings is not that large, it has a collection of excellent paintings that are enjoyable.

St. Charles's Church, Karlskirche.

I decided to enter St. Charles's Church.

It seems like there was either construction work or a campaign, and I was able to go up to the top of the dome using a temporary elevator.
Perhaps it was a temporary opening as part of the restoration work?

St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom).

Visit St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom), an iconic landmark in the heart of the old town.

I have been there several times, and once, there was a mass being held inside.
It is a magnificent building, but it may be crowded with tourists, and it may not be a place where you can quietly offer prayers.
