Within India, terrorist incidents occur frequently. Just recently, there seems to have been a bombing in Bangalore.

Notice Regarding an Explosion in Bangalore

On December 28 (Sunday) at approximately 8:30 PM, an explosion occurred near the restaurant "Coconuts Grove" located on Church Street in Bangalore. According to reports, one Indian national died and three were injured. According to a statement from the Bangalore City Police, an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) was used.

So far, no statements of responsibility have been confirmed regarding this incident, and the details of the background of the incident are unknown. However, the police are currently conducting an investigation, and the security alert level in Bangalore has been strengthened since the incident occurred.

It says "Church Street," but that is a road that runs parallel to MG Road (Mahatma Gandhi Road), which is in the center of Bangalore, and the building is located between Church Street and MG Road. According to Google Maps, the address is indeed Church Street. However, if you are going to publicize it, it would be easier to understand if you said "near MG Road."

There are many Japanese people living and working in the area near MG Road, so this seems like an act intended to cause confusion. India still seems to be in an unstable situation.

I am currently in Japan for a temporary return, so I was not in Bangalore on that day. However, when things like this happen, it becomes difficult to go out in the city, and it is quite troublesome.
