I was driving on the road when a moose suddenly jumped out!
I was going at a speed that could have caused an accident if I had hit it.

Caribou Creek Trail - Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve.
I went to Caribou Creek Trail.
Caribou Creek Trail has river crossings. However, it seems like a waste of effort to take your shoes off and cross the rivers (apparently there are a maximum of 4 rivers), and the goal is right there, so I decided to follow the riverbank up to the hill and turn back, feeling satisfied. That was enough.
It seems like you can cross the rivers without taking off your shoes during seasons with less water, but either it was a certain season or it had rained, so the water level was high.
Caribou Creek Trail has river crossings. Today, I went to the Jumbo mine, which is located on top of a mountain. It's an interesting place.
There are cables left over from transporting stones. The base is made of wood!
There are also remnants of what appear to be buildings.
One-way distance is 5 miles (8 km), starting altitude is 650m, destination altitude is 1750m, altitude difference is 1100m, 3 hours for the outbound journey, 2 hours and 15 minutes for the return journey, total 6 hours.
