I have arrived in Sucre, Bolivia. My first impression is very good. The altitude is 2800m.
It is 390km from Samaipata, but unexpectedly, about 100km of it was on dirt roads. There were places with soft sand, and because the front tires were already becoming smooth, the front wheels were not gripping, so it took 5-6 hours to cross the dirt roads slowly. Even so, I was distracted by the following cars and lost my concentration, and the front tire got caught in the sand, causing me to fall over. Because it was a low speed of about 15km/h, I was not seriously injured. The engine guard also worked well. If the motorcycle shop hadn't fixed the idling problem yesterday, I might have had to force my way through, which would have been even more difficult. It was dangerous.
Recently, the sun sets early, so it gets dark around 6:30, so I reluctantly ran for about an hour at night. The asphalt near Sucre was in good condition, but that is not always the case, so I want to avoid night runs as much as possible.
I am tired for the first time in a while. I have muscle aches all over. I guess that's what it feels like to be alive.
I will stay here for about a week to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. It doesn't seem as boring as Santa Cruz at first glance.
While I am here, I will also renew my visa.

Scare town center.
There's nothing particularly special about it, but it's probably my favorite town in South America so far.
It's truly Bolivia's constitutional capital.
The people walking around the town seem to have a certain elegance.
At night, I ate pizza.
The crust was thin, so it was easy to eat.
It was delicious.
Who said Bolivian food isn't good? I've been having amazing food. Even the breakfast I had at the market was a normally delicious bread(?).
It's even better than the pizza in Argentina. In Japan, you probably can't find pizza this good unless you go to a proper restaurant.
Personal size: 20 Bolivianos (320 yen), Medium size: 40 Bolivianos (640 yen).

I changed the rear tire of my motorcycle and also bought a new helmet.
I went to several motorcycle shops, and they said they have the same rear tire (Pirelli Sports Daemon tubeless) that will be arriving next week. And it's not that expensive, at 730 Bolivianos (11,500 yen). Chinese-made tires are around 350 Bolivianos (5,500 yen), and Brazilian-made tires are around 390 Bolivianos (6,200 yen), but tires are important parts, so I'm not going to be cheap about it.
I ordered it and left my motorcycle there, and I'll pick it up next week.
That's a relief. Now I don't have to worry about the rear tire. It's amazing, Bolivia's constitutional capital. They are reliable. My impression of Sucre is improving rapidly.
I saw a fair number of motorcycles with on-road tires in the city, so maybe there's a demand for on-road tires in urban areas. I also saw a 50cc scooter, a Dio.
This is the second time I've replaced the rear tire, but the front tire doesn't wear out as much, so I haven't replaced it yet. I might just make it to Colombia with the current tires.

Skre Market
I strolled through the market.
A few months ago, when I arrived by plane in Bogotá, Colombia (altitude 2600m), I felt heavy for about a week, and I got out of breath after just 15 minutes of walking. But this time, thanks to gradually increasing the altitude, it's not so bad. I wonder if the acclimatization effect is still lingering after a few months? At that time, the altitude of about 2600m continued not only in Bogotá but also in Colombia and Ecuador, so I was at a high altitude for about a month.
This time, I'm not as tired as before, but I'm still not in top condition. I get tired easily, and my heart rate feels faster than on the plains. Even if I sleep for a long time, I can't get rid of the fatigue. When I arrived, I thought that staying for a week might be too long, but I think it's better to take it easy and acclimatize properly. The next destination, Potosí, is at an altitude of 4000m, and Uyuni is at an altitude of 3700m, and the place I'm going on a 2-night, 3-day tour from Uyuni is supposed to be around 4000m. It's essential to acclimatize properly here.

Today's lunch was something that seems like a local dish.
It's pretty good like this.
Bolivian cuisine is quite good.
